The University of Abuja (UniAbuja) is a federal university located in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Established in 1988, the university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across various academic disciplines and serves students from different parts of Nigeria.

Candidates who selected the University of Abuja (UniAbuja) as their first-choice institution for the 2026/2027 academic session are hereby informed that the online registration for the Post-UTME screening exercise is open.

Who Is Eligible?

How to Register for UniAbuja Post-UTME

Eligible candidates should:

  1. Visit the University of Abuja admission portal and select “Here to Apply.”
  2. Click the Undergraduate option.
  3. Enter the JAMB registration number and retrieve the candidate's details.
  4. Complete the required personal information.
  5. Generate the payment reference and proceed to Remita.
  6. Pay the stated ₦2,000 screening fee.
  7. Complete the payment using the OTP sent to the registered phone number.
  8. Log back into the portal using the JAMB registration number and surname as instructed.
  9. Complete the screening registration.
  10. Print the completed registration form and payment receipt and keep them safely.

Important Notice About Change of Course

Candidates who intend to change their course are advised to complete the change of course on the JAMB portal before registering for the UniAbuja Post-UTME screening.

The University of Abuja's published undergraduate admission requirements also confirm that candidates require the appropriate O'Level credits, an acceptable UTME score and participation in the university's Post-UTME screening process.
